His loss…

A few years ago, I fell in crush with a nice guy. I’ve met a number of a-holes and I’ve learnt how to spot them a mile away but this guy, let’s call him E, was different. Not a man of many words but oh so attentive and sweet. Well, one day E came over and said he needed some space. We had been seeing each other a lot and according to him, he was afraid – that’s right, he was afraid of lil’ ol’ me – that we were moving too fast and he wasn’t sure in what direction we were headed. Go figure!

After being heartbroken for a while, I reminded myself of the following facts:

1. I’m what you’d call adorable but I would call perfection. I’m 5ft 3in with skin like mocha and I’m extremely cute. 😉

2. I’m an amazing cook. I’m not just good with local cuisine, but continental as well. My mom calls my cooking ‘5 star hotel quality’. Aren’t moms the best?! ❤

3. I’m a loyal girlfriend. I’ve always got my man’s back till he annoys me and I clobber him with a frying pan. 😀

4. I am not afraid to say how I feel. No need to play guessing games, he’ll know when I’m mad at him. =|

5. I enjoy video games but I’m not that kinda chic that could stay up all night playing video games with her boyfriend. He shouldn’t be that kinda guy either.

6. I’m the kind of girlfriend that fixes stuff around the house. I’ll fix him to change burnt out light bulbs, I’ll fix him to call the carpenter for house repairs and I’ll fix him dinner. 😀

7. I’m an independent woman. I pay my bills and I’m willing to let him pay some too. 😉

8. I’m easy to please. A bouquet of red roses and a weekend trip to Paris isn’t bad for our first year anniversary. 😀

9. I’m a lover, not a fighter. I’ll love my new perfume, my new shoes, my new…well, most of the new stuff he buys me. 😀

Now tell me, whose loss is it, his or mine?! 😀
